Keith Dow serves as the Manager of Organizational and Spiritual Life with Christian Horizons, a nonprofit charitable organization working with people with intellectual disabilities in Canada and around the world. He completed his PhD in Theology through Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2019.

The Spirituality of Letting Go

Drawing from disability theology, spiritual traditions, and his book, “Formed Together: Mystery, Narrative, and Virtue in Christian Caregiving,” Dr. Dow reflects on the spiritual practice of “letting go.” As finite human beings, sustainable advocacy, caregiving, and contribution means working within our embodied limits. This session offers opportunities to collaborate as we reflect on sustainable and faithful practices of care for others and ourselves as people created in God’s image.
