Care of the Direct Support Professional

There are people who work to lovingly support people with disabilities. They assist people to cook meals, do laundry, attend church. They pass medications, care for g-tubes and other medical equipment, and step between people to offer protection. They listen to the people they support. They bring the people they support to their parent’s homes, doctor appointments, bowling, and churches. How has your congregation showed respect and care for these Direct Support Professionals?
